Crackle
Crackle is a decorative “antique” finish that can transform an ordinary object into an “antique”. There are many methods for obtaining this effect -- but the safest, fastest, non-toxic and odourless way is to use Stamperia products. All our products, from the classic requiring two steps to the single-component, are non-toxic; the brushes used can be washed in water.
Single-component product to use for bicolour background effects and panels. It results in irregular cracks that are affected by the brushstrokes of the second colour.
Two-step product suitable for giving objects an antique look. It results in more marked cracks than the subtle crackle product and forms a characteristic shiny finish that does not require additional finishing.
Two-step product especially suitable for “ageing” any surface and for decorative purposes.
Also suitable for glass, it is used particularly as an antique finishing effect on decoupage
objects. This product results in very fine cracks.
