Step
1
With the sponge brush, spread out a coat of primer all over the surface, to obtain a better colour fix. Let it dry and then blot on the acrylic colours mixed with the delaying medium, which will help you to thin the colours even on an absorbant surface such as rough unglazed ceramics.

Allow the colours to dry and after carefully cutting it out, stick the base shape on the jug |

Step
3
One by one put on the mouse pad the various pieces which are to appear in contrast and make the paper convex with circular movements of the graver.

4
Spreading on with a wooden skewer, spread on a little of the putty gum on the area in which you will make the superimposition. The putty will also act as a glue when it is spread out onto the edges. If necessary, you can go beyond the edges of the outline without problem: in fact excess putty gum, once dry, will come off the surface without leaving a trace. |

Step
5
Using the tweezers, superimpose the convex piece and flatten well along the edges to adhere precisely.

6
With the flat brush dipped in the diluted shadow colour, create shading to enhance the three dimensional effect. |

7
Put on the finishing touch with the usual water finish protective varnish.
